What you see will always be real skin, real texture, real body’s. This is a rule we made for ourselves as a soft rebellion against the modern world.
Social media is flooded with edited faces and bodies, but something no one is talked about is the industry. Companies have been getting away with retouching people for decades, just because it’s a business. As that makes it okay.
When a single standard is repeated enough, it stops looking constructed and starts feeling normal, and that’s the dangerous part. Slowly comparison becomes automatic. Bodies turned into projects, faces into problems. The more polished the image, the further we move from reality and ourselves.
We don’t want to contribute to that, we want to make a change, start a new wave. Not to be perfect, but to be real. By showing skin and bodies as they are, we’re not lowering the bar, we’re removing it.
